Hello friends! It's Laurie Willison here with another quick and simple card. The Pen Sketch Mandala is a new stamp set from the June 2019 release.
It is a beautiful stamp set with many uses. Today, I am going to use it for a focal point image with a fun design. Keep scrolling and I have a short process video to show how I made this card.
Using Altenew's Coral Berry Ink, I added ink to the image in my MISTI. I spritzed the image with water a few times to give it a soft watercolor look when stamped.
Using a colored card base, I added the front panel to my card after cutting it in 4 pieces. I used fun foam to give them dimension.
“Hello, Dearest Friend” is one of my favorite sentiments from Handpicked Bouquet Stamp Set. I love the font and felt it paired well with that beautiful Mandala image.
Keeping the Mandala stamp in my MISTI, I was able to stamp multiple backgrounds. Altenew's new Antique Gold Pigment Ink made for the most gorgeous image.
This new pigment ink dries slowly so it's perfect for heat embossing.
Adding clear embossing powder and some heat gave it a wonderful textured look. Another clean and simple card with lots of detail! Keeping the sentiment in the other side of the MISTI makes for a quick and easy assembly line to create multiple cards.
Here is a video showcasing my first card. You can watch it below or over on Altenew's YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for coming by today! Hope you have a great day!
