Hello friends! It's Laurie here with several new projects using the new stamp set It's For You. Stamping quick and easy cards with one layer makes them so easy to mail and gives the most amazing clean and simple look.
This first card couldn't be any easier to create. All you need is a white card base, 2 inks, and 2 stamps.
I centered the outline of the phone on a white card base and stamped it in Altenew's Obsidian Pigment Ink.
Using Altenew's Ruby Red ink, I stamped the sentiment under the phone. Super simple!
Graphic looks are so classic in card making. I stamped the phone 3 times down the side of the card using different colors for a fun design aspect.
Lastly, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in the center of the card.
To finish off the card, I added in a scored frame around the outside of the white space. I love that scoring can add a simple, subtle detail.
The vintage phone images work great for a focal point but also looks great as a background. It definitely gives a retro look that is so fun in card-making.
Using my MISTI, I stamped the phone images several times in straight lines to cover the front of the cardstock.
Tall Alpha is a new alphabet die set and has quickly made it to the top of my favorites list. I love the tall slender letters in this amazing font. I die cut “hello” in red cardstock and added it to the front of the card.
I hope you are inspired by today's cards. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!
