Hi friends!
Svitlana is here. Today, I will be sharing cards featuring the new Warm Hugs Stamp Set.
I made three clean and simple cards using the set.

COLOR TRANSITION
For my first card, I treated the biggest stamp from the set as a small background and applied a background technique to it.
I stamped it in the middle of a white panel using Teal Cave, Aqualicious, Sicilian Amber and Yellow Ochre Dye Inks, one transitioning into another. I used my mini MISTI for stamping to be able to stamp at the same spot several times.
I was applying ink onto a part of the stamp, blotting off the edge with a towel (to not have sharp edges from an ink pad) and then stamping. I did it for all four colors.
After that, I stamped the outline image for this design in black using a stamp from the Rose Blossom Stamp Set.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I foam mounted the panel onto a teal card base.
BLACK OUTLINES
You know when you die cut a stamped image using the matching dies you get this white border around? Well, I wanted to replicate this look only with a black outline.
I stamped the biggest stamp from the set onto a teal cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink three times. Then I stamped the floral stem details using Aqualicious Dye Ink.
After that, I fussy cut all three stamped leaving a black border around.
Then I adhered them onto a white card base and popped up a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set white embossed on Jet Black strip.
NOTEBOOK PAGE
My last card is also quite simple, design-wise. This stamp set reminded me of images from a vintage botanical book, so I wanted to replicate it.
First, I stamped the biggest stamp from the set onto white cardstock using the Sand Dunes Dye Ink. When I was stamping, after applying the ink, I removed it with a paper towel from the top and bottom edges. This was to avoid sharp lines there.
Next, I blended the Rocky Shore Dye Ink around the image, extending this way the background. It was the reason why I was removing inks from the top and bottom parts – to achieve the “longer” continuing background.
Then I stamped the outline image from the Rose Blossom Stamp Set using the Mocha Dye Ink. And then I stamped the stem details using the Dew Drops Dye Ink.
Next, I trimmed the image along its left and right sides and sprinkled with water. After that, I die cut the Creative Edges: Notebook Die on the top and tore the bottom edge. Then, I tied a natural twine around the bottom part of this piece.
I made a panel out of a Moonrock Cardstock and adhered it onto a Parchment card base. Next, I popped up the panel onto the card. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment along the panel side using Mocha Dye Ink.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you were inspired to create with the NEW Warm Hugs Stamp Set!

Your last card leaves me with such a peaceful feeling…lovely!
I love the card with the sand dunnes ink. And using the die cut on the top with the twine. Very pretty.
Really Beautiful cards!!
Wonderful ideas for simply stunning cards.
I love your cards and how versatile the stamp set is.
Gorgeous cards Svitlana, my favorite is the last one, the “Notebook page”, so elegant. Thank you so much for sharing and have a great day.
Theses are all really nifty and I enjoyed your tutorial! My favorite is the last card and I can totally picture ? in my head the little notebook and other fun botanical pages!
I just love that ‘botanical page’ look! THANK YOU so much for the inspiratin, Svitlana!
I loved the Warm Hugs stamp set, however, I am disappointed to discover I need to purchase the Rose Blossom Stamp Set to get the outline of the stamp. I think it should be included in the Warm Hugs Set.
