Hello, crafty friends! It's Laurie here, sharing several cards using the new Tartan Stamp Set.
This is an amazing new stamp set that is perfect for background and can be used for other decorative details. I have three projects to share and then a video with a bonus card showing how easy it is to use this new stamp set.
To create this first card, I used coral cardstock and stamped the largest plaid image in the center of the card. I used the solid and striped images to add color to the blocks. Then I did a little white paint splatter and some sparkle spray to the card front.
Next, I grabbed this gorgeous bloom from Floral Art and die cut it, leaving it black and white and then adding it to the card front with foam tape. Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Sentiment Strips on a strip of black cardstock and then added it to the center of the bloom.
Using the plaid image, I created a focal point for this next card.
After stamping the dotted leaf image from Dot Botanicals all over a white cardstock panel, I added it to a white card base. Next, I heat embossed the Tartan image on white cardstock, masking off each section and blending in Rubellite, Chamomile, Butternut, and Sweat Leaf inks.
After adding the Tartan panel to the card front with fun foam, I die cut “hugs” in black cardstock and black fun foam. I layered them together with liquid adhesive and then added the sentiment to the front of the card. Lastly, I added a few star embellishments to finish off the card.
One last quick and simple card.
I grabbed some gray cardstock and then stamped the Tartan in white ink. I love the contrast and the look of the plaid image. Next, I used Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set, stamping them out in Ocean Waves and Dusk inks.
Then I used the “hello” die included in the Envelope Liner Die Set on the front of the card. Coating the sentiment in glossy accents makes the perfect shine. Finishing the card off, I used some black gems to give the card a little more detail.
I have a bonus card to share in this next video. This will show just how easy the new Tartan Stamp Set is to use. Watch it below or on Altenew's YouTube channel.
I hope you have enjoyed my cards today. Thanks so much for coming by!
