Hello, Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. Hope you are having a beautiful spring-y kind of day so far… because today's Stamp Focus post is all about “Spring Fling” Stamp & Die Bundle. This set comes with many cute images and is perfect for creating spring and baby-related projects. I have created 3 cards and you will see how versatile and fun this set is!
Card #1: Hello

Techniques: stamping on patterned paper, die-cutting
The easiest way to create is by using patterned paper. The Summer Garden 6×6 Paper Pack offers some whimsical images and patterns. I stamped the leaf image and die cut the images from the paper.
The two inks I used are Wisteria and Grass Field. The “Fancy Hello” Die and some of the images are die cut from the Summer Garden 6×6 Paper Pack. I added some clear glitter to the die-cut images, so they will stand out.
Card #2: Happy Birthday
Techniques: stencil, ink-blending, masking
With the Floral Mandala Stencil in place, I applied Sunray and Baby Pink on Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock to create a colorful background. I also stamped the images with the softest and lightest colors from our March 2019 Ink Collection.
After die cutting the pieces, I arranged them by using a negative circle die. This helped to group the small images in an invisible circle. Once I was happy with how they looked, I added foam tape and popped up the images.
I then stamped the sentiment (Trendy Circles), added a piece of Golden Edge Washi Tape and a heart-shaped enamel dot (Pocketful of Sunshine). This card is perfect for someone who is celebrating their birthday in spring!
Card #3: Congratulations/I am jumping for joy for you!

Techniques: stamping in Watercolor Brush Markers, die-cutting, inlaid die-cutting

I stamped the bunny in the middle and the floral images with Watercolor Brush Markers. After stamping and die-cutting with “Weekend Doodles”, I popped up the wreath and fitted the bunny in the middle as in “inlaid die-cutting”. This gives a nice and cohesive look and yet it has some dimensions. I used the Essential Rock Collection for the layering paper. This card is perfect for parents-to-be or for anyone who is celebrating a special life event.
As you can see, I had lots of fun creating these happy spring-related cards. I hope that you enjoy today's Stamp Focus on Spring Fling. Have a beautiful day!

Awesome cards, Virginia! My favorite is number 3!
Virginia, I see so many people just using white backgrounds. I’m really interested in the use of the gray paper as a background. It’s a nice subtle background with some interest.
