Stamp Focus: Smile More

by Lydia Evans

Hi there everyone! Lydia here sharing three projects using one of the amazing new sets from the new release- Smile More Stamp Set. I have to say I'm loving these new daisy images and the sentiments are beautiful.

6x8 Smile MoreFor this first card I stamped one of the sentiments in a waterproof black. Then I stamped some of the daisy and leaf images around it.

DSC00212I added colour to the images using Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee and Evergreen Crisp Inks. It's simple but effective, I love how these inks can act as a watercolour when mixed with a little water.

DSC00214My second card also uses Crisp Inks as a watercolour…

DSC00217Firstly I used Warm Sunshine Crisp Ink to create an ombre watercolour wash. I stamped and embossed some of the images from this set in white onto the piece after it was dry. I then added the sentiment onto a strip. To add a little more to the card I stamped one of the large daisies from the set onto vellum and heat set in white, fussy cut it out and added it to the strip.

DSC00219This third card is a little more involved. So to start I stamped the three large sentiments from Smile More Stamp Set repeatedly onto a card base on the diagonal. To soften this I added a panel of vellum over it.

I then stamped a sentiment onto a strip. To embellish the strip, I stamped some of the flower and leaf images in black and then coloured them with the amazing Artist Markers. I fussy cut the images out and added these to the strip.

DSC00221I really hope you like my cards and that they have given you a few ideas.
