Hello friends! It's Laurie Willison here. I am stopping in today with 3 new cards using the new stamp set Shine Like a Diamond. This background stamp is gorgeous with so many possibilities.
Using my Misti, I placed a half sheet of white cardstock and placed the background stamp along the bottom. I inked it up with Obsidian Black ink and stamped the cardstock. I was able to cut out a card front from the top of the sheet with 1 1/2″ of white along the bottom, creating a masked look, without the masking.
The gorgeous “shine” sentiment is included in the set and looks great in Gold Embossing. I stamped bright, again in Obsidian ink and then finished the card off with some sequins.
Using the Mega Bloom Stencil, I blended in Altenew's Rouge ink on a pale pink cardstock.
I kept the stencil and cardstock together and laid it in the Misti. This time I stamped the Shine Like a Diamond background in white ink. I love the texture it gives on the Mega Bloom.
To finish off the card, I popped up the hello die on fun foam and added in a few sequins.
Heat embossing is such a fun technique, as it gives card so much texture. I always think I need to ink blend though, to showcase the embossing. This time I decided it needed to stay white!
I inked the background stamp up with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The detail this background has is gorgeous in white.
I stamped up the bloom from Handpicked Bouquet and added that to the front of the card, along with a sentiment stamped on a pink strip of cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!

Love your card and the stamp.
Love the stamp through the stencil effect
I loved all three cards!
I absolutely love how you have the background stamp through the stencil. Sooo pretty! And the first card I really like the clean and bold look of the shine bright diamond stamp. It really makes a statement. I love the white on white for the background on the 3rd card. It is stunning without any colour added! I glad you left it that way.
