Stamp Focus: Sewn with Love Stamp Set

Hello there! Virginia here. I am SEW delighted to share some projects that I created with the Sewn with Love Stamp Set. It is one of most innovative stamp and die bundles that Altenew has to offer.

You may have seen some amazing projects from the February Release Blog Hop and have fallen in love with this set. If you are intrigued, let's have another in-depth look at this versatile stamp set. I am listing each card's special features in bullet points for your easy reference. Let's start with the clean and simple design first.

Card #1 – Sending Lots of Love

> Solid stamps are the best ones to use for testing out the old and new inks.
> The crossed-stitched hearts may look intricate and yet, they are easy to cut out as the edges are all in straight lines.
> Pop some of the hearts up with foam tape for added dimensions and interest.
> Inks used here (from left to right): Turquoise, Minty Mint, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, Pinkalicious, Sunkissed and Cool Summer Night Oval Set.

Card #2 – Because You Are Extra Special

>This card combines stamping with the Altenew Design Paper from Reflection 6″x6″ Paper Pad.
> Follow the pattern of the paper and stamp. The polka dots on the pattern paper served as my guide when stamping the hearts.

> Embellish the design with Vellum Translucent Paper and sequins.
> Embossing the sentiment with Antique Gold really dresses up the card.

> Do not be intimidated when using pattern paper. The color palette is a great source of inspiration too!

Card #3 – I {heart} You

> Parchment Cardstock is perfect for stamping, especially with darker inks such as the Tea Party Oval Set and Green Meadows Oval Set.
> Follow the die and trace the outer edge with a white gel pen.

> The white-embossed sentiment (in Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder) helps bring out the contrast of colors.

Card #4 – Sending Warm Hugs

> Altenew inks are formulated for color-layering. Simply follow the guide (from the package) and you can create this intricate look without any problem.
> The Sewn with Love Die Set serves as a great guide for stamping. I did the die-cutting first and then I only needed to line up the stamps with the pinholes.
> Get extra mileage with the stamps by using the smaller stamps. The “ground” was inked in Rock Collection Oval Set and stamped with one of the petal stamps.

> Use a silver gel pen to trace the edges after stamping.
> Embellish the corner with a small piece of cut out from Creative Edges: Lace Die
> Pierce the pinholes and make a bow with silver thread.
> Glue sequins for extra shine and pizzazz!
