Hello, everyone! Yana is here sharing a closer look at gorgeous “Sentiments – Beautiful Quotes” stamp set. One can never have enough sentiments for cards so this is a great set to add to your collection. I personally love the previous set Altenew released, the Sentiments & Quotes, and I think this one makes a great addition.
I always enjoy using quotes for my projects and in fact I've mentioned to Tasnim that as a cardmaker I'd love to see another sentiment set with more quotes. I'm very happy there's now an additional “Sentiments – Beautiful Quotes” for us to use. While not every quote in this set works for a card, some are not directly card related, I can still see myself and others using them in cardmaking.
I created several simple projects where I've stamped the sentiments or quotes and adorned the with various flowers. My first card features stunning Vintage Flowers stamped using Red Sunset and Warm Gray sets and die cut using matching dies.
You can see the close up of the sentiment on the photo above and I really think it makes this card a one of a kind one.
My next project features a supportive sentiment, a perfect one for someone who is having a hard time making an important decision. Aside from the Sentiments – Beautiful Quotes set I also used the Peony Bouquet stamps and matching dies, heat embosses the images and watercolored in teals and greens.
Here's a close up of the sentiment on the photo above and you can also see subtle images stamped in the background; the Morning Frost ink was used to stamp those.
My last card for today features Magnolias for Her stamps along with matching dies, you can watch this video tutorial to learn how I colored these images. The sentiment I selected works great for an encouragement card that can be given to someone who is feeling down to lift up their spirits. Here's a close up:
The Sentiments – Beautiful Quotes stamp set features a lot more quotes and a few sentiments. I'm looking forward to using those in my future projects.
