Hello everyone! How do you like the latest release? What is your favorite stamp/die set? It was love at first sight when I saw the Retro Plantines Stamp Set! These stylish leaves made my imagination create a lot of combinations and I will show you a few today.
FIRST CARD
For the first card, I chose purple and yellow color combination – one of my favorites. Woodgrain Powder Cardstock was the perfect card base to use with these leaves images.I stamped and die cut the leaves to create a composition. For stamping, I used Butternut, Grape Agate, and Amethyst Crisp Dye Inks.
Finally, I adhered a sentiment made using Hello and Hugs Die Set and two cardstocks: one is the Gold Foil Cardstock and the other one is the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock inked with a bit of Grape Agate Crisp Dye Ink.
The second and the third cards are similar and both are one-layer cards in ochre and blue tones.
SECOND CARD
For the second card, I created a mostly ochre (Yellow Ochre Crisp Dye Ink) background using the leaves and added three berry images in blue (Cloudy Sky Crisp Dye Ink) to highlight the place for a tiny sentiment. I realized that I had never used such a trick for background stamping!I like to use tiny sentiments as it's always a challenge to create a card and make it pop and not hidden.
THIRD CARD
The third card is very clean & simple. Here, I used only the berry images and stamped them in a row at the bottom of the card. I used lighter colors of Crisp Dye Inks: Pumpkin Pie and Misty Morning. Finally, I stamped the sentiment just over the composition in the bottom center (which I rarely do!).
Which card did you like the most? Comment below! Mine is the second one. I hope you got inspired to create cards and other handmade projects using the Retro Plantines Stamp Set!

There are so many stamp sets and dies its hard to decide which is my favourite. I love the halftone watercolour. But I generally wait a month or so after a release to determine which sets to buy. Just to make sure my favourite stays my favourite, because it can change. For example after seeing what you have done with this stamp set I think its now my favourite! I just love these cards. And they look so simple and easy to do, yet oh so pretty! Plus I need more foliage type stamp sets. All my foliage is just from my flower stamp sets and I often feel like I don’t have the right images.
I just purchased this set and am thrilled to see your lovely designs and inspiration. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
All the cards are beautiful. My favorite is the third one.
This is such a beautiful set. I love all the cards, and the colors you chose are fabulous. Such a versatile set; I think this is my favorite of the release.
Gorgeous cards Sveta, Great inspiration with this beautiful stamp set. Sometimes we forget how many different cards we can make by using only one set. My favorite is the first one, such beautiful colours.
Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous inspiration, have a great day.
Very nice showing for the stamp set. I must say that the third card is my favorite. I like how the hello is just tucked in at the bottom.
Hi Sveta, All of the cards are simply beautiful! What a cool set of images. I agree with the others that foliage sets are so handy. I think my favorite is the first card. The purple and gold immediately made me think of Mardi Gras!
Such different takes in each card. I do like the retro designs. Nicely done.
REALLY like them all but I think my favorite is the final card – it’s so sweetly simple. Tough decision though,,,,
