Hello friends, it's Laurie here today with another round of Christmas cards. Plentiful Pine, a new stamp set from the November 2019 Release, is just perfect for the holidays! I have 3 cards to share, including a quick how-to video on one of the projects.
All 3 cards are coordinating for today's post using the gorgeous Plentiful Pine trees.
FIRST CARD
To create this first card, I scored 2 rectangles on my card base and then stamped the sentiment at the top inside the smallest rectangle. Next, I stamped and die cut the pine tree and popped it up on the card front with foam tape.
I added little red dots of glitter on the tree to give it some sparkle. Last, I popped the white card front up on a red card base.
SECOND CARD
To create the next card, I stamped and die cut 2 of the pine trees. To create all the trees in this post, I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen Inks. I love this color set for the perfect pine tree.
Next, I blended some Ruby Red Ink onto a red piece of cardstock and then did a little white paint splatter on the front. I popped the red panel onto the white card base after adding a little Golden Edge Washi Tape to the right side of the card base.
Last, I used the Holiday Seals Stamp Set and heat embossed the Altenew seal on Kraft Cardstock. I added that to the card front with foam tape to finish off the card.
THIRD CARD
This last card was super simple and I created a video to show how easy it was to make.
I grabbed one more pine tree and attached it to a white card base. I lined up the card and the sentiment in my MISTI and added the sentiment carefully to the front of the pine tree and again to the card base. This way, when you line them up, you see the whole sentiment.
Using a red card base, I used Classy Stripes Stencil and Ruby Red Ink to give the side of the card base a striped look. Then I popped up the white card front onto the card base with fun foam.
Here is a quick video showing how I made this card. Watch it below or in HD on Altenew's YouTube channel.
I hope you have enjoyed today's cards. I know it is only the beginning of November, but I am ready for Christmas! These cards with classic green and red colors make me more excited to create and send more cards this year.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
