3 Beautiful Christmas Card Ideas + VIDEO Tutorial

by Laurie Willison

Hello friends, it's Laurie here today with another round of Christmas cards. Plentiful Pine, a new stamp set from the November 2019 Release, is just perfect for the holidays! I have 3 cards to share, including a quick how-to video on one of the projects.

All 3 cards are coordinating for today's post using the gorgeous Plentiful Pine trees.

To create this first card, I scored 2 rectangles on my card base and then stamped the sentiment at the top inside the smallest rectangle. Next, I stamped and die cut the pine tree and popped it up on the card front with foam tape.

To create the next card, I stamped and die cut 2 of the pine trees. To create all the trees in this post, I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen Inks. I love this color set for the perfect pine tree.

This last card was super simple and I created a video to show how easy it was to make.

Altenew PlentifulPinesPost LaurieWillison7I grabbed one more pine tree and attached it to a white card base. I lined up the card and the sentiment in my MISTI and added the sentiment carefully to the front of the pine tree and again to the card base. This way, when you line them up, you see the whole sentiment.

Altenew PlentifulPinesPost LaurieWillison8Using a red card base, I used Classy Stripes Stencil and Ruby Red Ink to give the side of the card base a striped look. Then I popped up the white card front onto the card base with fun foam.

I hope you have enjoyed today's cards. I know it is only the beginning of November, but I am ready for Christmas! These cards with classic green and red colors make me more excited to create and send more cards this year.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
