Hi friends!
Svitlana here, and today it's my turn to focus on stamp set from the recent release. The set I will be focusing on is Night Before Christmas.
This set has two Christmas trees with a sentiment already inside of them, along with several standalone holiday sentiments and a couple of stars.
For my first card I stamped one tree onto a white card base using Ocean Waves and Rocky Shore Dye Inks. I was using a stamp positioning tool for stamping and first stamped the tree with Ocean Waves, applied Rocky Shore on the sides of the tree and stamped over. And I did the same with the star, although in this case I shifted a bit stamp when was stamping with Rocky Shore.
This is a very basic and simple design. And this is the beauty of this set – it fits the bill perfectly when you need to create a quick card (or you're mass producing them). When it comes to holiday cardmaking sometimes we don't have time for a card that takes 10 hours to make (as my cards usually are lol).
My second card is a bit more time consuming (just a bit), but this design will also work for mass production.
I made an A2 card base and stamped a background using a tree from the set, stamped diagonally using Velvet, Evergreen and Dark Chocolate Dye Inks. And I added several stars and liquid dots between them to fill the space.
I stamped the sentiment using Velvet Dye Ink onto a strip of white cardstock, then foam mounted it onto the card.
For the last card I decided to stretch this set a bit and use in a bit non obvious way. I masked a circle in the middle of a white card base and stamped tree pieces all around it using Starlight, Tide Blue and Turquoise Dye Inks. I then masked the area outside of the circle (in other words – I made a negative mask for it) an inked it using Tide Blue dye ink.
I white embossed the sentiment inside of the circle and added some dots using white pen. And I also added some dots around the trees using Artist Markers.
I hope you like my ideas of how you can use this set.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Love that turquoise for Christmas, Svitlana! Clever use of the masking technique and the tips of the trees! I’ll be using that in a few cards this holiday,

Beautiful work :)
Beautiful cards but I’m loving that third one!! I love when people stretch their supplies and think outside the box with them too. This design could be done with just about any tree stamp or die even
