Hi everyone!
Svitlana is here. Today I will be sharing three cards using new Modern Deer stamp set. I'm in love with this set, they're so realistic. And also so cute and sweet.
For the first card I stamped a sitting deer using Velvet and Espresso inks onto Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and hand cut it with my scissors.
Several pine branches from Poinsettia and Pine set were stamped using Evergreen and Espresso inks and die-cut using matching dies.
I cut out a panel out of Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and die-cut a circle in it. The sentiment was stamped in the bottom part of the panel using Velvet ink.
Next I adhered the panel to a white card base using foam adhesive tape. The deer was layered over a pile of pine branches, which in turn was adhered in the bottom part of the panel circle window.
To finish my card I added several red and green sequins.
The next card is very simple and I kind of unusual. Black holiday cards are not something we often see and not everyone can be given such card to. But I personally love dark backgrounds, they look stylish and effective.
For this card I choose black and gold color combo. If you search “black gold Christmas” let's say on Pinterest – you will find tons of splendid and luxurious pictures.
As this is a holiday card, Gold Tinsel was my embossing powder of choose. This powder has glitter particles in it. It won't work for very intricate and detailed designs. But as you can see it's not too chunky to work well with the all other images (not extremely detailed).
I embossed a deer, sentiment on a black card base. Then added snow using stamp from Winter Mini Stamp Bundle. This card was so easy and quick to make and can be easily replicated. If you're not comfortable with black holiday cards, you can use another colors for this design.
The last card features one of my addictions – woodgrain. I'm just crazy about everything wood ;)
I started by stamping Wood Pallet Background onto a panel cut out of Parchment Cardstock using Espresso ink. Then I inked it using the same ink with an ink applicator. Stamping and inking deliver different amount of ink to a cardstock, so one ink can be used for these two techniques and the inking layer won't cover or hide the stamped one.
Then I let my panel to dry completely. It wasn't wet in a regular meaning, but embossing powder (that I used on the next step) could stick to some parts of the background, as ink stays wet in a core of cardstock for some time.
Next I white embossed both deer on the wooden background panel and adhered it to a card base. The sentiment was stamped sing Espresso ink on a small white panel. I embossed a stitched edge on a top of it and foam mounted it on the card base.
Hope you liked my cards using this new stunning stamp set.
Have a great day!

Three gorgeous and very inspiring cards! I can’t believe how neatly you cut out the first deer. It’s a fab card design too. I love the black and gold card, absolutely stunning and so stylish. And the embossed deer on the woodgrain effect panel looks brilliant, really eye catching and authentic. Super cards, thanks for the inspiration! Esther
