Hello, Altenew friends! It's Virginia here. I am delighted to share 3 projects with you. The background stamp set “Kind Confetti” from our November release proves to be one of the most fun and versatile stamp sets. No matter what your style of card making is, this set is sure to add that extra something! I call it “magic dust.” With the various designs, you can get an overview of how this stamp set can take your cards to the next level!
Let's get started!
The first card features the Dandelion Wishes Stamp and Die Bundle. I followed the insert and stamped the most basic way with the dandelion.
To create a dreamy background, I stamped the Kind Confetti with various colors: Ruby Red and Ocean Waves. Here comes the magic. I embossed the 3rd layer in Antique Silver Crisp Embossing Powder.
And just like that, the silver shine really comes through, especially under the light! Before adhering the card, I applied a piece of Watercolor Strokes Washi Tape on the cardstock and popped it up with a large piece of foam tape.
My 2nd card really shows how Kind Confetti evokes the celebratory and festive feel to a birthday card.
To create light colors for the background, I used the lightest shades from the ink pad combo. Then I embossed a piece of cardstock with Caribbean Sky and Fluorescent Green. I placed a piece of Golden Edge Washi Tape on to the embossed card stock. Finally, I applied the Halftone Squares Dies to the cardstock using the Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine.
For good measure, I even stamped Kind Confetti to the cake! Adding that sentiment from Cake Love Stamp and Die Bundle was icing on the cake!
My 3rd card, featuring the Engraved Flowers Stamp and Die Bundle, shows that ANY floral design can be enhanced by a background stamp such as Kind Confetti.
The Engraved Flowers were embossed in Antique Gold and colored with Watercolor Brush Markers.
Then I cut the cardstock at an angle and popped the flowers over Parchment Cardstock to show some contrast. Lastly, I sprinkled my magic dust by stamping Kind Confetti with the lightest shades of gray ink from Gentleman's Gray and Rock Collection. In the end, I added more shine with some stickles.
I hope today's Stamp Focus provides you with some inspiration and design ideas! I can honestly say that Kind Confetti is the BEST kind of confetti without having to clean up the mess! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Wonderful cards. Virginia has shown the versatility of this wonderful stamp!
These cards are so fun and festive!
Fabulous cards!
I can see why you call the Kind Confetti “magic dust” as it adds a special quality to all 3 cards. They are all totally different but the addition of the confetti adds a special touch to each. I am partial to the Dandelion and the engraved flower cards.
Love this fun Kind Confetti set! Makes a great ‘filler’ stamp for backgrounds!
Using the Kind Confetti set really makes these cards special.
I love all the cards but I love the two flowers the most that card is so nice. Thank you for sharing.God Bless you and your family
I love how you used the Kind Confetti Set! Definitely “cleaner” than regular confetti ;)
