Hello everyone and happy Monday. Lydia here with you today, sharing a few ways to use a set from the new release- Happy Dreams Stamp Set.
I just love the whimsical and dream-like feel to the images in Happy Dreams Stamp Set, and the large sentiments in this set are great to become a focus.
For my first card I created I fun watercolour galaxy sky. I then added a strip of vellum with one of the large sentiments from the set embossed on it in platinum embossing powder.
I also added some stars from the set behind the strip of vellum using the same embossing powder as the sentiment.
My second card also uses a watercolour technique, this time I stamped the floral cluster from Floral Frame Stamp Set into each corner of a piece of watercolour card and then embossed them in white embossing powder. I then wet the whole piece of card and dropped in colour to the edges and around the embossed flowers, as the card was wet the colours blended and moved across the card so I didn't have to do much at all.
Once dry I stamped one of the large sentiments from Happy Dreams Stamp Set in to the centre of my card layer. To finish I added I few black stars to draw the eye into the sentiment.
My final card also uses watercolour, I think this set goes especially well with the technique.
I stamped and embossed in white the feather from Happy Dreams Stamp Set a number of times onto some watercolour card, I then wet the whole piece and dropped in colour from the top so it blended and faded out towards the bottom.
I used a sentiment from the same Happy Dreams Stamp Set and stamped this onto some vellum and embossed in white. I fussy cut the circle sentiment and attached to the card using foam tape for dimension, a few white enamel dots finished the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my Stamp Focus on the Happy Dreams Stamp Set.
