Hi! Erum here today with a few cards to share using the Happy Bloom Stamp Set.
Before I start, how did you like yesterday's release? Wasn't it wonderful like all our past releases?!
To begin, I cut a panel of Pale Grey Cardstock to which I added scored lines for texture. Next, I added a few black splatters.
Second, I stamped the single flowers from the Happy Bloom Stamp Set on Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with Permanent Black Ink. I decided to use Artist Markers to color my flowers. Hence, the vibrant colors.
Blue: Arctic, Caribbean sky, and Persian blue
Yellow: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, and Caramel Toffee
Green: Frayed leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen
After I was done coloring, I die cut the images with a coordinating die. In the end, I added some clear sequins and popped a sentiment from Label Love.
Since I already used the single stamps on the first card, for my second card I used the bouquet of flowers. Keeping in mind that I wanted to make a quick card, I heat embossed the image using Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. This is the fastest way to watercolor for me.
I used distress inks to watercolor my image. As you can see, I fussy cut the image and popped it on my card front after I stamped “Happy Birthday”.
I wanted to keep the loose watercoloring going. For this reason, I followed the wet on wet technique to make my card front as well. Finally, I popped up a few silver sequins and confetti for the sparkle.
This is my favorite of the lot because it involves pencil coloring, which I love. I used only one black pencil from a kid's pencil set to add shading to my image, which then I blended with a stump/tortillion.
Because the stamp is so gorgeous, it shines here even without any bright colors.
I stamped “You Make Me Smile” and kept it super CAS. I made two more cards (in color) using the same layout which I will share soon with a video! So keep an eye out on this space. :)
This, you must have already seen. I shared this yesterday on my blog and thought I'd share it here as well as it's just another idea of how to stretch this stamp set.
Here, I have watercolored my flowers and then fussy cut them. Then, I arranged the spray along the oval die from Create-A-Wreath Die set. I have also added the word “Love” from Script Words and the Creative Edges: Lace Die to give the card a more feminine feel.
I hope you were inspired! That is all for today lovelies.
Thank you for stopping by!

Your happy bloom cards are lovely, Erum. They show just how versatile this set is. Thanks for sharing them on this blog hop.
Hi Erum,
Wow you have certainly let us crafters see how versatile the Happy Bloom stamp set is with your different card designs. They are all so different but exquisite all the same. I also love how you have used different mediums to give the stamp body and/or colour. Amazing I wish I had your talent. :O)
I’m so pleased I found this, Erum. I said in my comment for the blog hop that this was a MUST for me, after seeing the pink LOVE card. I love all of them and I am equally in love with the just black stamped card. It’s gorgeous too. Of course one of the other cards features the flower in my favourite colour, turquoise too. So hard to choose a favourite now! Thanks so much for sharing. Maybe I can find a fairy godmother who will give me this stamp set, lol LOL. Thanks for sharing – I really love your work. Will you ever make video turotials? I much prefer them to blogs as I love to see the cards being coloured and taking shape. Thanks again.
Bev thank you so much. I have already started doing videos :)
Wow, such stunning cards!! You’ve shown us your amazing talent once again, Erum. The colours, the colouring, the layouts, everything about them is done so beautifully! This is another amazing stamp set from Altenew and you’ve really shown us how versatile it is.
Thank you Jackie :)
Create a Card Using Sequins + Glue If glitter is too messy for you, sequins are a great way to add that shine and sparkle to your card front. Simply add tiny dots of the MONO Multi XL Liquid Glue to fill in the heart shape and then lay the sequins on top. You really just need the tiniest amount of the glue, you don’t want the glue to squirt out from under the sequins. And this glue dries nicely and forms a great bond with the sequins! You can also use this same idea to glue down tiny gems, enamel dots, buttons etc instead of the sequins.
I am sorry I think you commented on the wrong post :)
