Stamp Focus – Halftone Stars Stamp Set: Video!

by Therese Calvird

Hi, it's Therese here and it's time for another Stamp Focus!  Today it's time to see three cards (and one video) using the new Halftone Stars Stamp Set., starting with a clean and simple design with a stamped background.

Altenew - Halftone Stars - Speech Bubbles - Say Cheese - Lostinpaper (card) 1 copy I stamped the camera from the Say Cheese Stamp Set and used the Speech Bubbles Stamp Set and matching dies for a bold sentiment.

Altenew - Halftone Stars - Speech Bubbles - Say Cheese - Lostinpaper (card) 2 copyMy second design was so much fun to create.  I used the Halftone Stencil to create a matching background.  The star shaker element was easy to make using the Halftone Stars Nesting Dies.

Altenew - Halftone Stars - Halftone Stencil - Lostinpaper (card) (1) copyI Pure White heat embossed the sentiment on Deep Iris Cardstock and recessed it with a Handmade Tags die cut.

Altenew - Halftone Stars - Halftone Stencil - Lostinpaper (card) (1) copyMy final card has a video showing you the creative process.  I stamped the star images all over the background using the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks.

Altenew - Halftone Stars - Sentiments & Quotes - Lostinpaper (card video) 1 copyI then used the Bold Alphabet die set to inlay die cut the word star.  The remainder of the sentiment came from the Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set and was stamped onto Autumn Blaze cardstock.

Love all three of these cards but my absolute favorite is the third one! Love your fun star background and ‘hidden’ sentiment! I have become addicted to this technique for Sentiments! TFS!

Hi Henriette, I think all these halftone sets are amazing and versatile too, especially now they have the nesting dies to suit. Thanks so much for your lovely comment, Therese
