Happy weekend! It's Aimes here today with a focus on a new Altenew set that's guaranteed to be used on many of my Christmas cards this season: Halftone Holidays.
For me, I'm a complete sucker for a traditional red and green Christmas colour combo complete with a few splashes of sparkle. So, armed with my supplies go-to Christmas crafting supplies, I've create three different cards.
First up, I started by CASEing a previous design I'd created using the Halftone Thanks stamp set. As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! :)
I love the easy-peasy ombre effect that you can achieve with the Halftone series by simply inking up the stamp. I also love this design so I decided to tweak it slightly by using a different sentiment from the same set and the orientation of the card.
Now it would simply be cheating to create another card following the same design so how about a bauble instead?
This was so easy to achieve and simply involves stamping and heat-embossing a sentiment onto cardstock and die-cutting a circle around it. For a fun whimsical feel I decided to add a loopy bow to this bauble and secure the tails with dots of with Glossy Accents to make them behave. ;)
Well, that's all from me today. I hope that today's cards inspire you to ink up what I think is a fabulous stamp set with an amazing concept.
