Hello everyone! It's Aga here today with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Fabulous Florets Stamp Set.
This stamp set features hand-drawn flowers and leaves. Each one consists of an outline image, a solid coloring layer, and a shading layer to give you a beautiful faux painted look in no time! You can use the images to create beautiful arrangements, or you can combine them with your other favourite floral stamp sets for even more versatility.
Today, I created three simple cards to give you a few ideas on how to use this set.
For my first card, I decided to go for a very simple, one-layered card. I started by stamping my sentiment from Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set in black. Using a masking technique, I stamped my outline images and then I stamped layers to add colors to the flowers and leaves.
I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Blush, and Rouge for flowers, along with Forest Glades, Evergreen, Lime, and Fresh Leaf for leaves.
For my second card, I stamped the outline images onto watercolor paper using Permanent Black Crisp Ink. Next, I used Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set to color my images in. Then I die cut the images with coordinating dies and arranged them on my card.
To finish the card off, I stamped my sentiment from Thinking of You Stamp Set and added a black Mega Alphabet F die-cut.
For my last card, I used the Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set again. This time, I created a watercolor background panel and I combined it with a smaller one using Positivity Washi Tape. Next, I stamped a solid flower image with Obsidian Pigment Ink and added few watercolored leaves.
My last step was to add a sentiment from the set stamped with black.
I hope you enjoyed these examples and you found some inspiration today. I can’t wait to see all your beautiful projects created with this set!
Thank you for stopping by today!
