Hello friends! It's Laurie here today, showcasing the new stamp set called Envelope Art. I'll be sharing 5 fun and easy ways to decorate your DIY envelopes!
ARVE Error: need id and providerThis new stamp set makes designing envelopes easy! I have several examples to share, using elements from the new stamp set, along with a few other Altenew favorites.
You don't need a MISTI to use this stamp set, but it makes it easier to line up the images and even stamp several envelopes in one stamping session.
There are 2 main banners, curved and straight, that make the perfect address panel. Envelope Art also has lots of sentiments that work well on the front of the envelope or even on a card.
FIRST ENVELOPE
To create this first envelope, I made a mask with the banners and added the mask to the card front. The Flowing Drops Stencil made the perfect tone-on-tone background. Using the banner stamps, I went in last and added the details in black ink.
SECOND ENVELOPE
On this next envelope, I used the World Map Stamp Set in Evening Gray Ink and then added the straight banners over the top. I love the modern look this gives the envelope but still keeps it simple.
THIRD ENVELOPE
To create this look, I made a mask using the banners and added it to the yellow envelope. I used the Classy Stripes Stencil to blend in the Snapdragon Ink. I used the large blooms from Wallpaper Art Stamp Set to add in the flowers. To finish it off, I went back in and stamped the banner detail. It looks like it might be complicated to create this look but it was so easy!
FOURTH ENVELOPE
Envelope Art Stamp Set comes with a really pretty floral image that works well on the back of your envelope. I decided to create an address space using this image. I stamped them along with a “special delivery for” sentiment all in Obsidian Pigment Ink for a simple look.
FIFTH ENVELOPE
This envelope was super easy to make. I stamped the banners in white ink and then masked off the center section. I used the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set to add details around the masked lines.
BONUS CARD!
Here is one last card made with Bubble Wrap Stencil after masking off the address banner. I love the look of the Morning Frost Ink in polka dots!
I hope you have enjoyed these DIY envelopes featuring the Envelope Art Stamp Set. This new stamp set provides such a fun way to add “happy” to your happy mail!
Thanks for coming by today. I hope you are all doing well and staying safe!

These are beautiful, Laurie. I never take the time to decorate envelopes, but what a difference it makes. I regret not ordering this stamp set now, when I submitted my order, lol. Next time ;-P
Beautiful envelopes. This set would make it easy to decorate if I didn’t decorate one when I made the card.
Really cool idea! Lovely examples. Thank you!
I like these options for an addition of stamping to an envelope. Will have to add this to my wishlist.
Love these envelope ideas! No point sending out a naked envelope when we can make them look so pretty!
I love all these envelopes. I really like how versatile this stamp set is, that you can create as many lines as you want, and add the ribbon or leave it off. And the sayings are amazing too! I was just thinking I needed a stamp set to jazz up my envelopes!
