Stamp Focus: Delicate Primrose Stamp Set

by Aga

Hello, everyone! It's Aga here with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Delicate Primrose Stamp Set.

6x8 Delicate Primrose 1It’s another great addition to the Altenew floral collection. This set features two multi-layer flowers and a multi-layer leaf along with heartfelt sentiments, perfect for different occasions.

If you hopped along with us yesterday, you might have already seen some beautiful cards using the Delicate Primrose Stamp Set (HERE is the link if you haven't had a chance yet). Today, I created three clean and simple cards to give you a few more ideas of using it.

My first card is a very quick and easy “thank you” card. I stamped only two layers of the flowers and leaves in the center of my card. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy (both for the first layer), Coral Berry, Mountain Mist, and Volcano Lake for the flowers, Forest Glades and Evergreen for the leaves.

1To finish my design, I stamped the center layers with black ink and used Artist Markers (Frosty Pink, Sunkissed and Sea Glass) to add more colors to the flowers. I also used the center layer stamp to create additional greenery. The last step was to stamp the sentiment with black ink and to add some black ink splatters.

2For my second card, I chose to go for a monochromatic color scheme. This time I stamped the outline flower images with black to create a simple background.

Altenew Delicate Primrose Aga 3Next, I cut out a circle out of black cardstock, heat embossed my sentiment with white powder, added a small butterfly from Butterfly Acetate Die Cuts and popped them all up with foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Altenew Delicate Primrose Aga 4For my last card, I used this non-holiday stamp set to create a holiday card. I stamped only the solid flowers with different pastel colors: Frosty Pink, Blush, Sea Glass, and Soft Lilac.

Altenew Delicate Primrose Aga 5Then I used a sentiment and small images from Happy Holidays Stamp Set and heat embossed them with Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. I also added more powder to the background to create something like gold dust and some watercolor splatters.

Altenew Delicate Primrose Aga 6I hope you’ve enjoyed these examples and found some inspiration today! I can’t wait to see what you create with the Delicate Primrose Stamp Set!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
