Stamp Focus: Crafty Friends

by Aga

Hello Everyone! It's Aga here and today I will be focusing on the beautiful set from the new release called Crafty Friends.

6x8 Crafty Friends

It’s definitely a must have for every papercrafter out there! This set is perfect for creating cards for the crafty friends in your life. It’s packed with fun and inspiring phrases paired with sentiments of encouragement and companionship, and with cute, little images to use as lovely details.

Here’s what I came up with today, to give you a few ideas of using it.

My first card is a quick and simple message embellished with cute floral stamps from the set.

you are so talented1

First, I used a stamp from the new Watercolor Frames Stamp Set to create a subtle backdrop for the black sentiment. Then I stamped flowers with Cotton Candy ink and used pink, green and black markers to add some extra details. To finish it, I stamped little green and black twigs.

The second card is even more simple. I again used a watercolour frame from the Watercolor Frames set, but any hand painted background created with watercolours or inks will be great for this kind of designs. I used here two different inks (Frayed Leaves and Ocean Waves from the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks.) to achieve a fun ombre look.

you inspire me1

Next, I combined two beautiful sentiments with a flower and stamped them all together with black ink.

For my last card I created a simple stamped background.

First, I stamped the sentiments in black, then I created my background using the lovely images from the set. I again stamped the tiny flowers with Cotton Candy ink and used Altenew markers to add more details to them. The tiny hearts was stamped with Sunkissed dye ink and some of the images I left uncoloured.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these examples and you found some inspiration today! I can’t wait to see what you create with this set!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a lovely week!
