Stamp Focus: Camellia Build-A-Flower

by Aga

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I'd like to share with you three cards I made using a beautiful set called Camellia Build-A-Flower. As you may already know, it’s a special product sold as a set that includes 1 6×8 stamp set and 1 coordinating die set. And it’s another gorgeous floral set from Altenew!

Here's what I came up with today, to give you a few ideas of using it.

For my first card I created green monochromatic background using only one layer of the flower and two layers of the leaf. I used here two shades of green: Evergreen and Forest Glades from the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks.

As a final step, I stamped this beautiful sentiment with black ink on a piece of grey cardstock and adhered to the card.

For my next card, I stamped the blooming camellia in its full glory using all the stamp layers. I chose to use my favourite colour combo and stamped the images using Rose Qaurtz, Puffy Heart and Purple Wine from the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. I also used two layers to stamp the leaves using Evergreen and Forest Glades inks.

I combined it with the “thank you for your kindness” sentiment, perfect match for a beautiful flower. I stamped it with black ink on a piece of white cardstock, matted with black cardstock and popped up with 3d foam for some dimension.

For my last project I again created a stamped background. I used Limestone Crisp Dye Ink to stamp a subtle backdrop for a bold monogram.

Altenew Camellia Aga5

For the main focus of my card I used six leaves, stamped with green shades and cut out with the coordinating die. I arranged them in a shape of wreath and combined with bold letter M (cut out of black cardstock covered with gold glitter tape using Bold Alphabet Die Set).

I hope you’ve enjoyed these examples! I can’t wait to see what you create with this gorgeous camellia flower!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a lovely weekend!
