Hello Everyone! It's Aga here today with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Blossom Wreath Stamp Set.
This stamp set will add a touch of spring and blossoms to any handmade project. It features a beautiful layered wreath featuring lovely scattered blooms and leaves. You can also stamp the outline and color it in with your favorite coloring mediums for even more versatility.
Today I created three simple cards to give you a few ideas of using this set.
For my first card I stamped my wreath onto a watercolour paper using Permanent Black Crisp Ink. Then I used Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set to color the images in.
Next, I stamped a sentiment in the centre of my card, cut the image out using a coordinating die and adhered with foam tape for some dimension.
For my next, one-layer card I stamped the wreath using Obsidian Pigment Ink and used a masking technique to stamp a watercolor frame from Watercolor Frames Stamp Set as a background for my sentiment.
To finish the card off, I stamped layers to color up the flowers and leaves. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Lime, Fresh Leaf, Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Sea Glass and Ocean Waves.
For the last card, I again stamped my wreath using Permanent Black Crisp Ink and used Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set, but this time I didn't color my images. I painted some simple circles to add a whimsical touch to the design.
My last step was to add small flowers with Dusk Crisp Dye Ink, few ink splatters and the sentiment from the set stamped with black.
Thank you for stopping by today!
