Hello crafty friends! Yoonsun here to share with you Father's Day cards using Best Dad stamp set.
The Best Dad stamp set is so unique and versatile! For me, the idea of the Father's Day card was just using glasses, tie, or mustache but now, it gives me something special instead of my old ideas.
My first card is a watercolour card. I love making my own watercolour background with stamps!! First, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using a stitched rectangle die. I then randomly stamped the images from Best Dad set on it using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I coloured the rest areas with Tattered Rose Distress ink using waterbrush.
For my second card, I stamped the images on A2 sized white paper panel using Dark Chocolate dye ink, then added some shading with a Copic marker E53. Easy peasy, right?!
My last card is a simple shaker card! How can we forget about shaker card for Father's Day?!! :D First, I randomly stamped the images on A2 white paper panel with Evening Gray dye ink. I then cut a square frame from the centre of the stamped panel for the shaker front, back it with acetate sheet, then added the blue, green, and yellow colours of 4mm sequins. I stamped the book – I love the title “Dad's Life” so much – on a separate watercolour paper using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured it, then cut it out. I mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape.
*20% of the profits from this stamp set earned by Father’s Day will be donated to an international charity organization, the Zakat Foundation. The donations will support seniors.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Yoonsun
