Stamp Focus: Best Buds and Budding Thanks

Hello everyone! Erum here today . I hope you enjoyed the new release, as always we loved it. I have three cards to share with you using the two new sets Best Buds Stamp Set and Budding Thanks Stamp Set.

The sentiments are amazing in the Best Buds stamp set and the detailed layers in the Budding Thanks Stamp Set knocked my socks off!

For my first card, I used one of the bigger floral image and stamped it with Versamark (I also did a bit of masking) and heat embossed it using Altenew's new Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.

The coloured images on the back of the stamp packet shows that the lower portion of this particular flower is green and the upper portion is of another colour but I chose to use one colour for the whole flower.

I used Altenew Crisp inks as watercolours for my card and I have to say they worked really well. For the pink I used Coral Berry Crisp ink, for orange I used Orange Cream Crisp Ink. For the blue background I used Ocean Waves Crisp Ink.

I stamped “Just for you” on a strip of cardstock with Permanent Black Crisp Ink and popped it on my front panel using foam tape.

My second card also features the Best Buds stamp set. HereI did quite a lot of masking and stamped my images on watercolour cardstock. I coloured the leaves and the biggest flower using Artist Markers Set A in Grapevine, Ruby Red and Coral Berry and Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen for the leaves. For the rose bud I used Frosty Pink artist marker and then added yellows and dark pink with pencils. The other two buds were coloured using kid's Crayola Markers.

As you can see, I did not try to blend the colours on my image hence the colouring didnt take a lot of time. I fussy cut the image out and popped it on my card front using foam tape.

I used Stone Wall Stencil for my background and inked it in ombre' fashion using Silver Stone Crisp Ink. The sentiments in this stamp set are beautiful, totally loving them, I used Permanent Black Crisp Ink to stamp mine.

For my next set of cards I used the Budding Thanks Stamp Set.

I made two small sized, 4×4 inches, thank you cards to send out to friends. These came together SO QUICKLY.

I created my inked background using Ocean Waves Crisp Ink in a diagonal ombre' manner.

Please excuse my horrid layered stamping. I'm not that great at stamping layers since I don't use them very often therefore my layers are a bit off.

I used Mango Smoothie, Peach Perfect and Orange Cream Crisp Inks for the yellow bud. For the pink rose bud I used Peach Perfect, Cotton Candy and Coral Berry Crisp Inks. I used the coordinating dies to cut these up and popped them using a foam tape.

My purple flower was stamped with Lavender Fields Crisp Ink and Midnight Violet Crisp Ink. The sentiment was stamped with Permanent Black Crisp Ink.
