Stamp Focus: Beautiful Day

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I'd like to share a few cards I made using a beautiful set called Beautiful Day.

Altenew is well known for fabulous layering flower stamps and this set is no exception! It has a large 4-step Peony, and a few other images. Here’s a set of “thinking of you” cards I created using these beautiful flowers and leaves.

As you can notice I used a similar colour combination as I wanted my cards to fit together, but I also wanted the designs to be different.

For my first card I created a stamped background. I love stamped background and floral patterns are my favourite! And the Beautiful Day set is fun to use as, some of the images are multi-step and others are simply outline image.

For my next card I created a floral border with the flower and leaves. I love that the images can be stamped with or without the outline layer, or you can use the outline image independently if you prefer colouring. I used markers to colour small leaves and berries.

For my last card I used a masking technique to create a floral frame for my sentiment. I again used markers to colour the flowers and small leaves and used only two layers to stamp the layered leaves.

For all my cards I used Evergreen, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf inks to stamp the images. To finish them off, I used sentiments from Thinking of You set.
