Hello, everyone! Erum here today! Hope you are doing great. Did you check out the new release? Isn't it just amazing? Did you see those layering dies?! So awesome! Today I am going to share three cards I made using the Amazing You Stamp Set.
I love the bold lines of this stamp set, and you will see why I love them! Here is my first card:
For my card, I stamped the flowers from Amazing You Stamp Set in watermark ink and heat embossed them in gold. Can you see how prominent that gold is because of the bold lines? I watercoloured these beauties in tones of coral, pink and peach. I then fussy cut all the flowers and placed them on Woodgrain Powder cardstock. Some of these I layered on top of another, it added to the dimension.
The gold scallops you see are punched from the gorgeous Gold Foil cardstock. I also added a panel I watercoloured in different tones to match the flowers and stamped the sentiment “You are amazing” in watermark ink and heat embossed it in gold.
On to my second card which is more graphic and bold.
Here I stamped the flowers using Archival Ink in Jet Black and created a vine which I pencil colored. After I was done with the flowers, I started to watercolor the background and kept it darker on the top and very faded, washed out at the bottom. I also used the dripping technique to add the perfect watercolor look.
I added some white dots with my gel pen to add a bit of interest. Here is a closer look that shows the beautiful sentiment.
Now on to my last card. I heat embossed the flowers in white this time and this one looks the prettiest!
This one makes my heart happy! I used very light watercolor and also added two tones of colors in places. The images are fussy cut and placed on different levels to add dimension.
I watercoloured the base a bit in gray so that flowers would pop. The silver glitter mat you see is made out of the gorgeous Silver Glitter Tape. These silver and gold tapes are my new favorite things, and I know I will be using them a lot!
In today's post, I wanted to show you the variance you can achieve just by changing the stamping ink and different embossing powders.
I hope you liked my work and found some inspiration! I had so much fun making these cards to share with you!
See you all soon! Don't forget to leave a bit of love for me or if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
