Soft No-line Watercolour With Floral Frame Stamp Set

Hi there everyone! Lydia here with you today sharing a very soft looking card using Floral Frame Stamp Set.

To start I stamped the floral cluster from Floral Frame Stamp Set in a very light ink, on to some watercolour cardstock. I then added some of the leaf fronds around to bulk out the image.

Then I set to work with some watercolours to colour in the image. I used an old set of watercolour paints from my stash. I worked petal by petal adding more colour to the base of the petal than the tip. When doing no-line watercolour like this do not work on petals that are next to petals that are still wet as the colour will blend from one to the next. Instead work on petals that are away from each other and then come back when these are dry.

Once all of the images were coloured I did add in a couple of very faint free hand leaves for greater depth. Once the whole piece was dry I added in a sentiment from Beautiful Quotes Stamp Set.

To finish I added the coloured panel to a Pale Grey Cardstock card base.
