Simple One Layer Thank You Card

by Aga

Hello Everyone! Aga here to share a pretty simple one layer thank you card. In this card, I incorporated all my favourite elements: flowers and a painted look. The main element of my card is a floral frame created with a sketched floral image from the Garden Treasure Stamp Set. First I started by making a background and I used a stamp from the Watercolor Frames Stamp Set with Morning Frost ink in the middle of my card. Then I stamped my floral frame with black ink.

thank you1

I used Altenew Markers and Copic markers to do some simple colouring here. To finish my card I stamped the sentiments from the Painted Greetings Stamp Set with black in the centre of the frame.

thank you2

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a lovely weekend!
Aga

This is awesome Aga!! I was just using most all of this Garden stamp set last night to make a card & noticed that small little spray of flowers & thought…….hmmm…wonder how I could use this? I hope you don’t mind me casing your card!!! Hopefully I can get it nice and even on my card as you have yours!

Thanks for the delightful one-layer card. Love getting new ideas for this kind of card, Aga. I also liked the idea of using the stamp from the new set to put some color inside the flower frame. Great idea.

Simply spectacular! Sometimes less gives a greater impact than adding lots of extras to it. This is one of those times! TFS!
