Hello! Erum here.
I used the Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom Stamp Set on my card today with the Floral Shadow Stamp Set. Also, today marks one year since my first post here at the Altenew blog. What an incredible journey this has been.
Firstly, I started by stamping the larger of the two Sakura Blossom flowers using Citrus Burst in the first layer. For the second layer, I used Honey Drizzle. Because I needed two of this size, I repeated the step once again.
Next, I stamped the smaller Sakura Blossom using the same inks. In addition to this, I stamped the leafy vines from the Floral Shadow Stamp Set to build my floral spray. I used Mocha Crisp Ink to stamp these.
At this point, I realized that the images need more oomph. Therefore, I started adding details with my color pencils.
I followed the stamped design with my pencils and added a few strokes in yellows and browns. I added black crystals as flower centers.
Similarly, I added shading to the leafy vines from the Floral Shadow Stamp Set. After I was done, I fussy cut my pieces out.
Before I began arranging my floral spray, I added some diluted Warm Sunshine Metallic Ink Spray as watercolor to my background. Also, I added black paint splatters to balance my sentiment label.
I arranged all my flowers on different levels with foam tape. I then heat embossed my sentiment from the Frosted Garden Stamp Set using Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.
Finally, after the arrangement was done and the sentiment was in place, I added coordinating sequins. In the end, I popped my card front onto a kraft base with foam tape.
I hope you liked my card! Thank you for always being super encouraging. I love reading your comments.
See you soon!

Thank you ♥
Stunning in the yellow, I fell for the cherry blossom when Altenew brought it out , the petals make it look so real with the folds.
So true! It is a very different type of flower with the folds and a 3D die!
Wow, gorgeous card! I love the yellow blossoms on the kraft card base and your pencil coloring details really make your card so stunning! LOVE that you mixed in some elements from Floral Shadow for leaves and the mocha ink color too.
Thank you Melissa ♥
