Mushroom Greetings
Unleash your creativity with this charming 3″ x 4″ Mushroom Greetings Stamp Set! Featuring adorable mushrooms and punny phrases, it promises delightful crafting fun. The outline mushroom image invites you to showcase your coloring skills. Let your imagination soar!
I started making the card by creating an earthy-toned background using the Mushroom Garden Layering Stencil Set, using the following dye inks: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen.
After that, I blended the Rock Shore Dye Ink onto the whole panel to bring that earthy feel and tone down the greens.
Next, I sprinkled the background panel with water, let it dry, and added some brown splatters.
Using the Mushroom Greetings Bundle, I created the main focal point element.
First, the mushrooms were stamped onto a Solar White Cardstock using the Dark Chocolate Dye Ink. Next, they were colored using the following Artist Alcohol Markers: Coral Berry, Ruby Red (Red Cosmos Set), Velvet (Red Sunset Set), Sand Dunes, and Rocky Shore (Coffee Break Set).
I colored the mushroom heads in brighter red to add some pop of color to the card. The two mushroom heads that had dots on them I colored solid and then added dots using a white gel pen.
I made a frame from a Solar White panel using a die from the Rounded Rectangles Die Set. I also blended the Rocky Shore Dye Ink onto it, followed by adding the water splatters and brown ink spray splatters.
Next, I assembled the card by adhering the mushroom background onto a white card base, foam mounting the frame piece on top, and popping up the mushrooms in the bottom part of the frame.
The sentiment was made by white embossing a stamp from the Mushroom Greetings Stamp Set onto a Jet Black cardstock and die-cutting it using the matching die.
Several enamel dots from the Summer Afternoon Set finished off the card. And there you have it—a beautiful new card infused with woodland magic! Did you like this new card? Are you excited to use the Mushroom Greetings bundle? Do let me know in the comments below!
