Reflection Scrapbook Kit – Three Quick & Easy Cards – Video!

by Therese Calvird

Hi, it's Therese here and today I have something a little different.  I am using the Reflection Scrapbook Kit to create three floral cards. I also have a video to share showing how easily these cards came came together.

This kit is packed full of inspiration!  There are so many beautiful papers, embellishments, stickers and even a mini set of stamps, all of them in Altenew's usual elegant and unique style.

My cards came together very easily.  To begin with, I added a design paper background to each card base using some of the papers included. Then I was able to choose some co-ordinating embellishments and sentiments.   I also added some small details, such as the spattered Jet Black Crisp Ink background using the Re-inker mixed with a little water as well as some black Sprinkles and glitter glue.

The focal flower on this card was simply fussy cut from the design paper and then popped up over the frame.

Also this beautiful resin frame is the perfect center-piece on a card for someone special in your life.

The sentiment from Congrats was white heat embossed on some Jet Black Cardstock. The word ‘LOVE' was created using the puffy alpha stickers from the kit.  Finally, to adhere the acetate die cut butterfly I was able to use micro glue dots behind the body portion so that they would not be seen.

I will be back with another video soon. And next time I will create some masculine designs using Reflection Scrapbook Kit.

I have linked a video below. So you can watch the process to see how it all came together.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

These are so beautiful and I love them all. I’m going to pull out my watercolors and try my version of the one with the stripes, creating a birthday card for a friend! Thanks for the inspiration.

Fantastic take on the kit! I have been avoiding a closet packed with scrapbooking materials since switching to card making years ago…you have given me courage and hope to pull out paper and chipboard with renewed creativity.
