We all love rainbows and having a possibility to create a project with them makes it even better. The new Through the Rainbow ensemble (part of the Amy Tangerine x Altenew collab) is just the perfect fit to your paper projects. I love the color /rainbow palette possibilities for your projects!
Here is what I have created with it.
I love how easy it was to create the rainbows in this spread, and the possibilities in the ensemble. Let's take a closer look at the spread.
Create a Title
One of the ways to create rainbow colored memory keeping layouts is to use the shape of the rainbow to create interest in the page. For this spread, I am using a limited color palette from the Summer Dreams Fresh Dye Inks, and Through The Rainbow Stamp Set to create the double rainbow arches on the page. The shape of the design is conducive for focusing a design, in this case, the title placement.
Frame Your Focal Point
The stamped arches create the ideal placement for a focal point (in this case the title of the spread). Since I have a large area to cover, I am choosing the new Build-A-Garden: Japanese Anemone and You Matter Die Set to create the main interest of the page.
In order to create a cohesive rainbow colored memory keeping layout, I am using the same colors from the rainbow arches to color the flowers. Then, I added a pop of metallic shine (Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock), and black accents to the finished page look.
Frame Your Photo
To continue building my rainbow colored memory keeping spread, I am choosing to add an stencil impression of the rainbow (using the same color palette and Through The Rainbow stencil) to a 4x6in card. By only adding a piece of the rainbow to the card, it causes it to frame anything we set next to it.
Create Your Journaling Cards
Finally, I finishing my rainbow colored memory keeping layout by repeating the partial impression of the arches using the stencil and fresh inks. I am adding a few sentiments from the stamp set and also A Fresh Start stamp set to complete the spread.
You can watch how this spread comes together, and all this ideas at work in the following video. Watch it here, or in HD in Altenew's YouTube Channel:

Indeed, there are so many possibilities! Jaycee boldly played with colors and patterns to make this card a truly memorable and gorgeous one.
