Quick and Simple New Home Card Idea with Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set

by Aga

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today I would like to share with you a quick and simple card idea for an occasion that I wasn’t prepared for. I needed to create a quick “new home” card but I couldn’t find any stamp set that would be suitable for it.

If I don’t have a stamp set for the specific occasion, I try to think outside the box and use the products I have on hand. There’s always something that will work if you just give it some thought. One of my favorite products for such a moment is alphabet die sets. They give a possibility to create unique and custom sentiments for any occasion.

How to Create Quick and Simple New Home Card with Alphabet Dies

I started by running my card base through Garden Harmony 3D Embossing Folder for a nice textured effect. Next, I cut the HOME word out of white cardstock with Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set. I used green markers from Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E to color the letters and I popped them up with foam adhesive onto the card panel.

To finish my card off, I die cut little twigs from Branches and Berries Die Set and used green markers from Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E and pink markers from Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F to color the elements. I arranged them in the shape of a wreath and added them to the letter O.
