Hey there friends! It's Laurie here with a quick and easy watercolor card. This is definitely not a new technique but a great one for simplicity that packs a punch! Today I am using the Pen Sketch Mandela Stamp Set, along with a little ink and a little water!
To create this card, I grabbed some Altenew Watercolor paper and some Coral Berry Ink. After loading this beautiful stamp in my Misti, I loaded it up with Coral Berry Ink. Before stamping it onto the watercolor paper, I lightly misted it with water. When pressed down, I got this beautiful watercolored image. The image alone would make a gorgeous card front.
To add a bit of interest, I cut the image in 4 pieces and added foam tape to the back of each and then added a sentiment to the bottom corner in Obsidian Black Ink. I spaced them out carefully and added them to an aqua card base. So simple!
I hope you have enjoyed today's project and feel inspired to try your own quick and simple watercolor designs. Hope you have a great day!
