Hello there! It's Laurie here today with a quick and simple card using the new stamp set Flower Garden and the new Tall Alpha Die Set. I wanted to create a floral card quickly and I always love this simple technique and its end result.
Flower Garden has many beautiful images that can be colored with different mediums but today I chose to heat emboss one of the images onto vellum with white embossing powder. Once I had this complete, I turned the panel over and added in color using various Altenew Artist Markers. I love the subtle color you see when you turn the panel right side up.
The Tall Alpha Die Set is part of the new release this month and I just love the font. The size of this die set is perfect for a fun and bold sentiment on your project. I die cut Happy Day in white cardstock and again in fun foam to create the dimensional letters. After adding them to the card front, I applied a liquid lacquer to give the letters some shine.
I chose a light pink cardstock card base to layer the vellum with to complete this quick and easy card!
I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Thanks so much for coming by and I hope you have a great day!

You know I love me some vellum! THANK YOU so much for this great inspiration. I may just have to use this to create some ‘boy’ cards. Leaves, anyone?
