Hi there and happy Tuesday! It's Lydia here with you today.
Today I'm sharing a card that uses the beautiful ‘Vintage Roses' with a fun geometric background.
I love the look of the gorgeous soft floral arrangement with the modern fonts and subtle embossed background.
For the background I used Dodec Cover Die but instead of cutting it I embossed it using white card. I just love that the die covers the whole front on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base.
For the florals I used Vintage Roses and stamped some of the floral images using Red Sunset and Green Fields Crisp Inks and then cut them using the coordinating dies. For the sentiment I used two of the stamps from the You Are.. stamp set.

Stunning card. I hope they will be getting these on C&C. I enjoy watching your demos as you make be believe that I can do it and achieve some good pieces of artwork, the only downside its my bank manager keeps having a moan, NOT more stamps I hear him groan. The AlteNew stamps are stunning and so easy to use and this coupled together with your inspiring demos has re-ignited my love of stamping. Have fun xx

I’m not sure how you were able to use a die without cutting all the way through. But…..this card is simply lovely. It’s the texture you were able to get, add the lovely roses and wow….beautiful.
