Hi it's Therese and today I share with you how I stamp out the layered flowers from Altenew's Peony Bouquet set. These flowers are so versatile, with the outline, without the outline, with the layers or without the layers…. I think you get what I'm trying to say.
I did some simple layered stamping with the crisp inks and the matching Peony Bouquet dies truly make it so easy to create a quick an pretty bouquet. I also white embossed one of the fabulous sentiments from Bottleful Of, I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again… love the font!
I decided to separate the process into two videos, the first shows how I stamp out and die cut the flowers, you can see this video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing them!!! … you would not believe how PERFECT your timing is – my Peony Bouquet stamps arrived today and I’m feeling like I can ink them up now :)
PS – thank you for the top tip for touching up the inking too.
Beautiful card! I really like the background also!
Thank you so much for the video, Therese – always useful to see how these lovely sets go together. Love the idea of stamping the outline over the base image (I always stamped this last). I’ll definitely give your tips a try!
Gorgeous! The ‘quilted’ background really sets off the card!
Thank you so much for the videos. Love the technique you use for layering.
That is a beautiful card design. I love peonies.
A beautiful card, stunning in every way!!
That is such a great stamp! What a great looking card too!
Absolutely GORGEOUS, Therese! Your coloring adds so much dimension to the flowers and leaves, and I love your embossed background! Off to check out your video :)
Exquisite…..Therese your videos are excellent!!! This card is beautiful.
Always appreciate a how to video with tips. Beautiful card. I like to use the negative space from the die cut to help line up my stamps. I stamp the stamp onto my Misti grid paper and then position the negative space around the image. I position my stamp on the image, close the Misti cover to adhere the stamp, pop my die cut into the negative space, ink and go. It’s useful when stamping multiple pieces.
Oh sooooo pretty…thanks for the video and tips too!

Beautiful card Therese!
Therese, thank you so much for your videos. I love seeing different stampers’ ways of lining up the layering stamps. From one set to the next, or one colour scheme to the next, one method or another might just ‘click’ for the intended purpose, so the more options we viewers are exposed to, the better! This stamp set is on my gotta-have-it list and I so appreciate you describing the different looks you can get with just one, some, or all of the layers, or outlining in black vs. a different colour, etc.
What blue tape are you using and is it available in Australia?
Hi Glenice, I am using 3M Scotch-Blue Painters Tape for delicate surfaces #2080 and I found it at Bunnings. Hope this helps, Happy Papercrafting! Therese
