Hi there everyone! It's Lydia here today sharing a card using Floral Sprig Stamp Set and pencil coloring.
I started out by stamping two of the large sprig images from Floral Sprig Stamp Set in Limestone Ink. When doing any kind of no-line coloring it always helps to start off with a very light ink, this way you don't need to worry about trying to get rid of darker lines later on. I then colored my images with colored pencils.
Once I had finished coloring I added a sentiment. I used one of the sentiments from Circled Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped this in a black ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to get a shiny effect. Then I cut this out using one of the Halftone Circles Nesting Dies to get a neat edge. I added some black thread behind the circle sentiment before adhering to my card. A few enamel drops finished the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! And I hope you feel inspired today.
Hugs, Lydia

Beautiful!
This is a simple but oh so beautiful card. Love the colors. You just might have convinced me to purchase that stamp set. Thanks for sharing!
Love the layout of the images and the colors. The sentiment with the thread is awesome. Love the look and this card.
Your beautiful card gave me indeed a big smile. I was reading in your post that you used the Floral Spring set an at the same time it was raining here “cats and dogs”, unbelievable hard was it comming down. And I thought oh was it already spring, but it is autumn here and that shows.
Your coloring skills are really impressive. Would you think about doing a video please? Even if just to music it would be great. Thanks!
Beautiful :-)
Simply spectacular! TFS!
