Hello, Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. I am excited to share 3 projects with one of the stamp sets in our spectacular June 2019 release. The “Pattern Power” Stamp Set comes with a few really cool patterns that allow you to stamp on its own to create a graphic background. Or you can simply follow the tri-fold insert guide and stamp in various colors to create a unique background.
My first project is about balance, colors, and patterns. When we see definite visual patterns, our brains would quickly form a sense of order and calmness.
I followed the guide and stamped the triangles in my three favorite inks: Fuchsia, Ultramarine, and Snapdragon. It was easy to line up with each color as long as you wipe off the color residue each time. The key is to use a slightly larger cardstock for pattern stamping. That way, you can easily trim it afterward. The sentiment “YEAH” seems to be perfect for such a bright design! I white-embossed it with Pure White Embossing Powder on black cardstock and popped it over the stamped images.
Once I was happy with the stamping, I adhered it to the Orange Cream Cardstock. For the embellishments, I added some gold thread and sequins. I find this card very “fashion-forward” (smile)!
My next card is an uplifting and empowering one! I lined up the stamp each time with a ruler and stamped it in Velvet and Cloudy Night. While I was really pleased with the patterns, I only stamped on top and bottom.
For my focal point, I took out the Mid-Century Frame Die and dry-embossed it with an embossing tan mat. This resulted in a very subtle letterpress on my stamped design. I then added the black Mid-Century die-cut over the textured background.
The sentiment “so proud of you” from Sentiment Strips goes perfectly with the “WOW” (stamped in Antique Gold Pigment Ink). For the final touches, I added the Red Cosmos Enamel Dots.
My 3rd card is pleasing to the eyes thanks to the Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink and the nearly 3D cube effect.
By following the guide, I stamped the cubes in just TWO steps onto Jet Black Cardstock. I then trimmed it off with Halftone Squares Die Set. To add a touch of softness and elegance, I added the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape Flower.
To enhance the overall floral design, I stamped images from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set at the bottom. The sentiment from Sentiment Strips was stamped in Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. I love this simple yet so elegant design.
Are you feeling inspired and empowered by this Pattern Power Stamp Set? If you are not comfortable using graphic stamp sets like this, I suggest that you “play” with them by stamping the images in various colors and orientation. By doing so, you will get to know the stamps and eventually come up with the coolest graphic design that you might even impress yourself!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Really Striking cards!!!
I love these awesome cards, especially the triangle one with the gorgeous color combo!
The Pattern Power stamp looks like a very versatile set! The colors you used are striking in the first card. I must say that the card which jumps out at me is the one using the new gold ink on black card stock. Adding the flower from the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape adds even more elegance. The flowers stamped at the bottom are another nice touch.
Thanks for sharing these ideas…. I wasn’t sure how to use this set!
I love the graphic design on all of these cards.
