Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today's post shares two ideas using the Craft-A-Flower dies to create pastel watercolor flower cards. In this project, I used both the Rose and Magnolia Die Sets.
Watercolor Flower Card Idea #1: Pastel Design Paper
It was easy to look into the design papers available at Altenew and choose some beautiful pastel colors. Today, I used both the Summer Garden and Celebrations Paper Packs.
I added an embossed frame using the Simple Frame 3D Embossing Folder with some Antique Gold Ink Spray splatters. And I also added a sentiment from the Bergenia Builders Stamp Set.
Watercolor Flower Card Idea #2: Alcohol Ink Paper Dipping
The technique here is a fun one! I used the Alcohol Ink Refills from Altenew to create a background with a pastel watercolor look on regular cardstock!
I added some fun to the background using the Dotted Tile Debossing Cover Die.
I also added a sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.
To see how I created these beautiful watercolor flower cards, you can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
