Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I would like to share with you a simple pastel birthday card using the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet!

Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet

The Craft Your Life Project Kit is an exciting monthly package that is sure to get the creative juices flowing! Featuring a 6×8 stamp set, coordinating die set, as well as a stencil and embossing folder to fit the theme, this project kit has almost everything you need to start crafting. Just add ink and cardstock, and you'll be good to go!

This month’s kit features a beautiful floral bouquet and I decided to use it to create a delicate, pastel birthday card.

I stamped my floral image with Permanent Black Pigment Ink onto white cardstock.

Next, I used a coordinating coloring stencil set containing 5 stencils to add color to it. I used Misty Morning, Cloudy Sky, and Nimbus Crisp Dye Inks for flowers, along with Lime and Fresh Leaf Crisp Dye Inks for leaves.

For the two small flowers, I used only the last stencil layer to keep the flowers white with a little splash of color.

Once my bouquet was ready I used a coordinating die to cut it out. Then, I placed it inside the 3D embossing folder and ran it through a die-cutting machine for a bold textured design.

I finished my card with light pink patterned paper from Exuberant 6×6 Paper Pack and a birthday sentiment from the project kit.
