Today's Project
For today's project, I started by taking a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of watercolor cardstock and stamped the large image from Paint-A-Flower: Camellia Outline Stamp Set all over. I used embossing ink to stamp the images and heat set using Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. Once this was done, I added masking tape around the edges of the panel.
Once I had my little masked off panel in the center, I set to work watercoloring the images. I used my Artist Watercolor Set to add color. When coloring, I tried to keep my brush quite dry when adding color around the edges so that the color didn't leak under the masking paper. Once the image was dry, I added a little more shading using our Woodless Watercolor Pencils. Then, it was time to remove the tape.
The sentiment is from Circled Sentiments Stamp Set, and I added a little texture using Antique Gold Twine behind it.
