I have 3 quick projects to share with you using this new set, 2 of which are super quick and easy!
I tried to work a little outside my comfort zone on this first project with 2 things: using a card base other than white and attempting watercolor. First, I heat embossed the image and then added watercolor in carefully. Once the image was dry, I cut it out using the Nesting Oval Dies.
I added the oval with foam tape to a scored card front. I stamped the sentiment Build-A-Flower: Lavender Layering Stamp Set in Obsidian Pigment Ink. This ink makes the most amazing crisp images!
Here is a way to use this stamp set with a non-coloring method. Using a super easy color blocking technique, I made the next 2 coordinating cards.
I chose 3 colors of cardstock and heat embossed the image on each panel. Next, I cut them down into equal strips so I could layer them back together easily. I adhered each panel onto a white card base.
I used the same stamp set, Build-A-Flower: Lavender Layering Stamp Set for the sentiments on all of today's cards. I love the little pop of black contrast the Obsidian Pigment Ink adds.
I hope you have enjoyed today's Calla Lily projects. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I love Calla Lily’s unique shape and Altenew has created another masterpiece for us!!! Thanks Laurie for these awesome inspirational cards too!
Such a stunning flower and the DT have created beautiful cards to showcase it.
Beautiful samples of the calla lily stamp.
I really have to get those nesting ovals — they frame this stamp so beautifully!
Calla lilies always reminded me of my late husband, which was his favorite flower. I bought a synthetic calla lilies flower and had it for years. I want this for my forever card to make to give friends for any occasion! Beautiful!
I lean more towards cute characters designs for my cards. But you’re converting me to floral designs. So pretty.
