One Layer Floral Card using Hibiscus Bouquet set

by Aga

Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here and today I’ve got an easy, floral, one layer card to share. I’m not very good with colouring, that’s way I love Altenew floral stamp sets. You can always easily achieve a beautiful artsy look only by layering up the images! Here’s a card I made with the Hibiscus Bouquet stamp set, it contains a beautiful assortment of hibiscus flowers in a gorgeous painted style:

thank you1

First, I created a card base using Altenew Pale Gray Cardstock. Then, I stamped the outline images with black ink. To stamp my flowers I inked my stamp with two shades: Deep Iris and Midnight Violet. For the leaves I used two different colours and I inked my stamp with Evening Grey and Caribbean Sky. Using two (or more) different inks gives more depth and interest to the stamped images.

thank you2

To finish my card I used “Thank You” sentiment that comes from Floral Shadow stamp set and I used black pen to underline the words.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a lovely weekend!
Aga

Beautiful card Aga – I like the idea of using more than one ink color on the petals, must try this. Thank you :-)
