One-Layer Floral Background Card With Watercolor Extravaganza Stamp Set

by Aga

Hello, everyone! This is Aga here today with a quick and simple one-layer floral card using Watercolor Extravaganza Stamp Set. This set features flowers and leaves in a loose watercolor painting style, and it’s perfect to create beautiful and eye-catching backgrounds with no effort!

Altenew Watercolor Extravaganza Aga 1

I started by stamping my flowers with Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, and Ruby Red Crisp Dye Inks from Red Cosmos Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set and leaves with Forest Glades and Evergreen Crisp Dye Inks from Green Fields Color Family. Next, I used coordinating Watercolor Extravaganza Die Set and Altenew Masking Paper to die cut flowers, cover the stamped images, and add black ink splatters to the rest of the design.

My last step was to stamp a sentiment with Obsidian Pigment Ink.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Very pretty card, but I don’t see where you used the diecut flowers.

Hi Candace.
I think Aga used die cuts to cut masks to protect flowers
while she splattered the black.
Martha :)
