Ombre Blended Birthday Card with Celebrations

by Sveta Fotinia

Hello everyone! Sveta is here to share some turquoise obsession with you. Today I prepared a birthday card using Celebrations Stamp Set and Die Bundle.DSC 1216web

I took a piece of Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and started with background: using Versamark ink and clear embossing powder I stamped box, lolly-pops and cake images all over the card. Then I started ink blending, using distress ink and blending tool. It's a pure magic when you begin blending and images start to pop-up from the paper with each move becoming more bold and bright. I decided to make an ombre look so used darker colors only at the top. Using Tim Holtz Sprayer I added little splashes.

I also blended a little strip to use for a sentiment and white embossed “happy birthday” from Painted Greetings Stamp Set. I put a black and white macaroon image on a white strip and it reminds me of a curtain. Little sparkles of clear sequins make the whole card look so fresh!
