Old Meets New

by jenniferrzasa

As Altenew approaches our first anniversary (yay!), this seemed like the perfect time to revisit some of our older stamps.  I love how versatile the Simple Shapes set is….design elements, backgrounds, and even Tangram shapes can be created.

For my card today, I used the solid hexagons to create a fun and colorful background, accented with hexagon outlines embossed in gold.

Old meets new with the addition of a sentiment from our latest release – Halftone Thanks.  I embossed the word in black onto a piece of vellum, then cut it out.  I didn't want the adhesive to be visible, so I applied little dots of Tombow liquid glue underneath the thin embossed lines, then adhered it to a strip of white cardstock.

Fun little enamel dots finish off the card.  I hope you have an amazing Friday!
