Rainbow Bookshelf Inspired Paper Crafting Projects – October 2019 Inspiration Challenge

Hello there! It's Laurie here with a new Inspiration Challenge for October. I recently visited my favorite craft house with some friends and I always come back with lots of great photos filled with inspiration. Check out this photo I took during my visit.

This card was definitely inspired by the colorful books on the shelf. I love the colors in this photo and they are always fun to add to a card.

To create this card, I took a white card panel and blended in Sapphire, Rubellite and Buttercream to create the ombre look with Sketched Lines Stencil. I love the detail in the stencil and the look it adds to a card.

Cutting the card panel down into 3 strips makes the color combination pop. I attached each strip to the white card base with foam tape for a fun raised look.

To keep it simple and really showcase the stencil and color, I added in a blue Simply Hello die-cut by creating my own Sapphire cardstock. I attached the “hello” die-cut to the card using fun foam to give it a little dimension.
